LEVY MWANAWASA STADIUM TO HOST ZAMBIA,TUNISIA MATCH

The LEVY MWANAWASA Stadium in Ndola will host the a World cup qualifier match between Zambia and Tunisia on September 7th, 2021.

Football Association Zambia (FAZ) Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA says FIFA has also confirmed the kickoff time as 15:00 Central African time.

MUNGALA says timings and venues were a prerogative of FIFA to decide.

In a statement, he said the Chipolopolo will be away to Mauritania on September 3rd.

Several countries will play their home matches on foreign soil on account of having their stadia unfit for hosting international matches.

Malawi, Central Africa Republic, Mali, Namibia, and Guinea Bissau will play their home matches away from home.

Zambia is in Group B with Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, and Mauritania.

Group winners will join nine other teams in the final round which will be played on two-legged ties to decide Africa’s five representatives at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
