Leadership Movement extols media

Patricia Banda-The Leadership Movement political party has praised the media for playing a key role in upholding Zambia’s democracy.

LM President RICHARD SILUMBE says the media has also played a vital role in highlighting economic activities that have taken place this year.

Dr. SILUBWE was speaking  at the Meet the Media gala dinner that his party hosted.

He explained that his party will continue to engage the media next year because the industry is a key a partner in national development.

And Dr SILUBWE said welcomed President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’s proposal to re- introduce voluntary recruitment of Youths under the Zambia National Service.

He stated that the program is ideal for skills development and job creation.

Meanwhile, LM Chairman DAVID KALUMBA disclosed that the party will take part in the two by elections in Nsama ward in Kashikishi and Kapanda ward in Kasama.

Mr. KALUMBA explained that the Liberation Movement has in the year 2022 also participated in by elections held in Kabushi, Kwacha , Luangwa to enhance democracy.
