Deputy Chief Justice Michael Musonda says arrangements to transport the remains of Chief Justice Irene Mambilima are underway.

Justice Musonda says his office is working in liaison with cabinet office to put in place a detailed funeral programme.

He however says the funeral has been restricted to not more than 50 people at any given time.

Justice Musonda says the passing of personal condolences to close family members of the Chief Justice will be restricted, and subject to clearance.

He also stated that the book of Condolence has been opened at the Supreme Court front lawn and the funeral house.

This is according to a memorandum sent to the Law Association President.

He has since sent a message of message of condolence to chief Justice Mambilima’s family and the Judiciary and the legal fraternity.
