Lameck Banda and Prison Leopards part ways on mutual separation

Head coach Lameck Banda and Prison Leopards have part ways on mutual consent the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

Banda leaves the Kabwe based outfit seven months into his two year deal with the club.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Banda has left the club together with his assistant Bupe Chewe.

The former FC MUZA boss joined the Correct Boys back in November 2023 after leaving his position as head coach of Lumwana Radiants.

Prior to joining Lumwana Radiants, Banda had a stellar season with the Elegant Dynamites, FC MUZA leading the club through a historical 2022-23 season.

During his tenure Banda led FC MUZA to impressive performances that saw the club finish second place in the Super League and automatically qualify for their maiden CAF Confederation Cup.

Banda also led the Mazabuka based  outfit to the ABSA Cup Final where they lost to Forest Rangers at a packed Woodlands Stadium.

With Lumwana Banda left the club in third position with 17 points, three behind log leaders Nchanga Rangers.

It’s not clear where Banda is heading next with a number of clubs having shown interest in his services in the past.
