All the pieces are now in place for Rhumba Maestro Koffi Olomide to get on with his shows in Lusaka after the globally recognisable star jetted in the country.

Olomide has been mired in legal controversies over his alleged violent conduct that has had him declared persona non grata in Kenya and other countries.

In Zambia he found himself on the wrong end of the law after allegedly kicking a freelance journalist back stage at Pamodzi Hotel.

The Ministry of Home Affairs however rolled the red carpet for the Congolese star disclosing that Olomide was not a wanted man.

Olomide arrived in the country at 01:00 hours at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard Kenya Airways.

He is scheduled to have shows in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
