General Education Permanent Secretary, Jobbicks Kalumba has challenged stakeholders in the education sector to emulate late founding president Dr. Kenneth Kaunda’s heart of serving humanity.

Speaking in an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka Dr. Kalumba said Zambia has lost a teacher and a mentor who worked hard to transform education in Zambia.

He said teachers must work with passion and love in order to produce citizens who will work for the betterment of the country

He also said Dr.Kaunda’s love to serve others made him a real politician whose legacy is worth emulating.

And, National Action for Quality Education in Zambia NAQEZ, Teachers from all the 1 hundred and 16 districts of Zambia have joined the Kaunda family, Zambians and the International Community in celebrating the life of one of the greatest sons of Africa Dr Kenneth Kaunda.

Organization Chief Executive Director Aaron Chansa says Dr. Kaunda will be remembered for embarking on a number of reforms to address the social, economic and political inequalities which existed before 1964.
