KITWE-CHINGOLA DUAL CARRIAGEWAY ON COURSE

By Wilson Mulinda-The Road Development Agency -RDA- says 95 percent of construction works on the Kitwe-Chingola Dual carriageway have been completed.

RDA Director Corporate Affairs and Communication Masuzyo Ndhlovu says the road is fully functional with only markings and other road furniture yet to be installed.

Speaking when he checked on the progress, Mr. Ndhlovu said the agency is satisfied with the works undertaken by the contractor, Sino Hydro.

He said the Kitwe-Chingola road is an important route as it conveys international traffic.

Meanwhile, BCHOD Consulting Engineers Resident Engineer Dejan Zivanovic said the works undertaken are of high quality.

Mr. Zivanovic said the road will stand the test of time and is safe for any vehicle.
