Kings Kangwa ready for UEFA Champions League bow against Mbola’s former team

In form midfielder Kings Kangwa was in high spirits on Tuesday as he joined his teammates in training ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against Armenian side Pyunik Yerevan.

Red Star Belgrade will host the Yerevan based side in the first leg.

Kangwa has impressed since he made the switch from Russian side Arsenal Tula.

The 23 year old will be hoping to transfer his league form to Europe as he makes his Champions League bow.

The former Happy Hearts and Buildcon playmaker has hit the ground running in the Serbian Super Liga with eye catching performances.

Kangwa has helped Red Star Belgrade to a 100% start to the league.

He has a return of 2 goals in 4 league matches.

Former Zambia left back Emmanuel Mbola featured for Pyunik alongside Henrik Mkhitaryan while Chisamba Lungu trained with the team before he signed for Baia Zugdidi in Georgia.
