KIKWETE URGES GOVTS TO MAKE AGRO SECTOR ATTRACTIVE

Former Tanzanian president Jakaya Kikwete says governments in Africa should make Agriculture attractive for young people.He says if Agriculture remains subsistence several young people will continue shunning the sector.Dr. Kikwete says once young people are assured that they will make money from the sector more   will be willing to take up agriculture as a business.He was speaking at the National Economic Summit in Livingstone.And speaking at the same function Economic Association of Zambia president Lubinda Habaazoka thanked Dr. Kikwete for accepting the invitation and to be one of the speakers at the summit.
