Kids Kidnapper: Police Nab 1 Suspect

Police in Kitwe have arrested a Kwame Nkrumah University first-year student in connection with the abduction of two boys by an ex-convict in Kitwe recently.
The two children went missing on July 12 this year after an ex-convict their mother adopted as a “spiritual son” drove off with them from the home he was being kept after being released from Kamfinsa Correctional Facility.
The children, Michael Kaunda, 12, and Louise Kaunda, 9, were allegedly abducted by Trojack Zulu from Gift Muunga’s house number B27, Copperbelt University campus, using a Toyota Hilux Surf registration ACZ 9222.
Mrs Katanga identified the arrested student as Keith Mwiinga of house number 22, Twafwane Close, Lukanga township in Kabwe.
She said Mwiinga, who is studying French and Science at Kwame Nkrumah University, was picked up from Kabwe after he allegedly started sending messages to the missing children’s family that he knew where the
