KAZIYA TO SUPPORT BILL 10

Matero Member of Parliament LLOYD KAZIYA has urged his fellow parliamentarians to support Constitution Amendment Bill number 10 of 2019 as it comes up for second reading in parliament tomorrow.

Mr. KAZIYA says those that are opposing the document should clearly explain why they do not support bill 10 in parliament instead of walking away.

He says the public should understand that the PF is not supporting the document for the sake of doing so but because it is progressive and will improve the wellbeing of all Zambians.

Mr. KAZIYA said this during a press briefing in Lusaka today where he also stated that he remains a loyal PF member opposed to speculations by both people within and outside the PF party.

He said he will continue to represent the needs and desires of the people in his constituency and subscribes to the position of the party because he has the responsibility and duty to do so as their member of parliament.

And PF Matero Constituency Chairperson LEE MUKUPA said he is happy that Mr. KAZIYA as their member of parliament is in support of bill 10 because it represents the views of constituents’.

He also thanked President EDGAR LUNGU for visiting Matero constituency because it shows that he has the interest of the people in Matero.
