Kaziya Shuts Down AVIC Sleeping Quarters

Labour Commissioner, Chanda Kaziya has ordered the closure of the sleeping quarters for Zambian workers at AVIC International premises in Lilayi area.This is because the workers sleep in inhumane conditions, which Mr Kaziya has described as falling short of the Zambian labour laws.Mr Kaziya, who has visited the premises, has further sent home the workers, who were living in the sleeping quarters.He has explained that during the period the workers will be away AVIC International management should correct the situation.
