Kazembe continues local tennis domination

Chansa Kunda-Zambia’s Number One Tennis Player EDGAR KAZEMBE has won the 2022 One Life MIKE MAMBWE Senior Tennis Championship that was hosted by Nkana Tennis Club in Kitwe.

KAZEMBE of Zambia Correction Service Tennis Club retained the championship he won last year after defeating ROBERT CHILESHE of Green Buffaloes Tennis Club.

KAZEMBE squared off the first set via a 6:3 score before slumping to a 3:6 in the second set but went on to finish off the 18-year-old with 6 love in the third set.

And Speaking after the victory, KAZEMBE, who went away with 7-thousand 5-hundred kwacha, from the singles described the MIKE MAMBWE memorial tennis Championship as a good platform to keep Tennis Players in shape.

Meanwhile, MARGRET CHEWE beat defending Champion ISABEL CHISONGO in the women singles final.
