Kasempa Benefits from CDF

Kasempa Member of Parliament BRENDA TAMBATAMBA has handed over 26 cheques worth over K932,000 grants to women and youth coorperatives in all the 24 wards of her constituency.

The grants are for the third and fourth quarters of this year’s Constituency Development Fund -CDF.

Speaking during the handover ceremony in Kasempa, Ms. TAMBATAMBA who is also Labour and Social Security Minister urged beneficiaries to use the funds for their intended purpose to uplift the livelihood of the people.

And in a vote of thanks, Lwamadamba Disability Cooperative Chairman JACKSON KESA thanked government for empowering less privileged people in society.
