Kampyongo Warns Individuals And Organizations Allegedly Being Used To Jeopardize The Country’s Peace.

Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has charged that there are some individuals and organizations in the country that are being used by some international detractors to jeopardize the country’s peace.

Speaking at the pass out parade of 969 constable police officers at Lilayi police training college this morning, Mr. Kampyongo said it is sad that these individuals and organisations are being used by the detractors whose interest is in the country’s natural resources.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kampyongo has disclosed that some countries have requested the Zambia police to train its security officers but that this has not been possible owing to poor infrastructure standard which his government has started working on.

At the same event, Inspector General of Police Kakoma has warned people he said are deliberately spreading hate speech against a legitimately elected government stating that the Zambia police service will not hesitate to discipline such individuals.

24 recruit police officers failed to graduate due to disciplinary issues among other reasons while one died during training.
