Kampyongo warns civil servants with political ambitions

Hector Simfukwe-Home Affairs Minister STEPHEN KAMPYONGO has challenged immigration officers with political ambitions to resign and join in politics.

Mr. KAMPYONGO says officers should NOT mix their duties with politics.

The Minister was speaking at the official opening of the senior and regional immigration officers’ annual conference.

Mr. KAMPYONGO also urged officers to always remain disciplined to avoid compromising the country’s security.

And Immigration Director General DENNY LUNGU thanked government for the support rendered to the Immigration Department.

Dr. LUNGU said the Department has remained exemplary in its operations due to the support from government.
