KAMBA BACKS ELIGIBILITY CALLS

The Patriotic Front -PF- in Lusaka Province has backed those that have suggested that President Edgar Lungu is eligible to contest the 2021 General Elections.

Provincial Secretary Kennedy Kamba says the issue of President Lungu’s eligibility has already been settled by the Constitutional Court.

Mr. Kamba says those claiming that President Lungu is ineligible must respect the Constitutional Court’s verdict as being a court with original and final jurisdiction and its judgements are not appealable.

He said this at a press briefing in Lusaka today.

At the same function, PF Lusaka Province Women’s Chairperson Margaret Mumba said the PF will win the 2021 General Election.
