Kalu Requested to Sit on Committee Selecting New Chipolopolo Coach

Government has written to Former FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya requesting him to join the committee that will select a new National football team coach.Youth and Sports Minister EMMANUEL MULENGA says the decision was arrived at following a meeting with FAZ President Andrew Kamanga and other Executive Committee Members.Speaking to ZNBC news in an interview, Mulenga said FAZ has submitted a list of 60 coaches that have been shortlisted.Mulenga said he is pleased that there was transparency during the shortlisting process.Meanwhile, Mulenga has also disclosed that funds are readily available from the ministry to support FAZ with the salary for the coach.He said his ministry is ensuring that the selection of the coach is done in line with the 2018 financial management act.
