KALINGALINGA HOUSES STILL FLOODED

Several houses in Lusaka’s Kalingalinga Compound have remained flooded even after the rainy season.

Affected house owners claim the water is coming from underground – a situation that has affected their livelihoods.

They have told ZNBC News that this situation has left many people homeless, while others have been forced to remain in the unsafe structures.

And Area Councillor MUKUBESA NYONI has called on government and various stakeholders to assist the affected families.
