KAINDU UNVEILED AT BUILDCON… GIVEN SHORT TERM CONTRACT

By Aaron Mubanga Jnr | March 29, 2020

Ndola based Super League side Buildcon has confirmed the appointment of Kelvin Kaindu and Boyd Mulwanda as their new head coach and assistant respectively.

The ZamFoot Crew hinted on this development yesterday following a tip from a source close to the deal. The Ndola based outfit took to Facebook to confirm the appointment.

“Buildcon Football Club confirms the appointment of Kelvin Kaindu as Head Coach, he will be assisted by Boyd Mulwanda and Ivan Zoric as Technical Director.”

The duo will be in charge of the Team up to the end of the 2019/20 season.

Kaindu has been clubless since January when he and Numba Mumamba were sent on administrative leave at Zanaco following a string of poor results ending his second stint at Sunset Stadium just six months after making his return to his ‘home’.

The former Zanaco winger has spent the better of his managerial career in Zimbabwe, coaching teams like Highlanders, Triangle and How Mine where he recorded 68 wins, 46 draws and 30 losses in 144 league matches with a win percentage of 47%.

His last head coach job was at Power Dynamos were he spent just above a year between January 2018 and April 2019.

Buildcon is currently 15th on the log with 25 points from 23 games and needs to find their winning mojo to survive relegation which is Kaindu’s target.
