KAFUE CELTIC WIN OBC UBUNGANI CUP

Kafue Celtic Football club has been crowned winners of the 2022 OBC Ubungani Cup after a 6-5 penalty shot win over Highlands Park.

The youth tournament that was held in South Africa saw Celtic pick up victories in all games to emerge winners.

In the opening game, the crocs beat Eastern section three nil and gunned down Orlando pirates by a lone goal in the second encounter.

The third game saw one of Zambia’s leading football Academy outclass BSI two – nil.

In the final the team put up a spirited fight as they beat Highlands Park 6-5 on penalties after playing to a barren draw in regulation time.

Players FRANK CHILESHE and NORRIS KALAMBA where named players of the tournament.
