Kafue Celtic, Indeni, and Lusaka Dynamos officially relegated from the Zambia Super League

Kafue Celtic, Indeni and Lusaka Dynamos have joined Konkola Blades as the teams that have been relegated to the Eden University National Division One.

The Crocs succumbed to a 1-0 loss at Khosa Stadium against Kabwe Warriors. Ocean Mushure’s 70th minute penalty was enough.

Lusaka Dynamos and Indeni lost 1-0 to Kansanshi Dynamos and Zanaco respectively to confirm their fate.

Elsewhere, Nkwazi held ZESCO United to a goalless while Prison Leopards thrashed Green Eagles 3-1. Conlyde Luchanga, Wilmore Haatembo and Damiano Kola scored the goals for Prison Leopards while Hosea Silwimba scored the consolation goal for the Kawale Boys.

Martin Njobvu’s brace gave Green Buffaloes a 2-1 win over ten man Buildcon away in Ndola.

Clifford Mulenga scored his eleventh goal of the season but it was not enough as Anthony Chiyuka made sure Forest Rangers and Konkola Blades shared the spoils.

Meanwhile Red Arrows have sealed their first league title since 2004 following an emphatic 4-1 win over Chambishi in Lusaka.
