Kabwe Warriors sign Zimbabwean striker, Mususunye

Kabwe based Zambian Super League side Kabwe Warriors have announced the signing of Zimbabwe Striker Farai Mususunye from Zimbabwean club side Shabanie Football Club.

Mususunye has previously played for FC Platinum in his home country before he joined Shabanie FC. in his first interview with the Club media team, Mususunye said that he joins the club with the aim to help the Warriors reach the targets for the season.

The Zimbabwe striker further said that he understands the demands of his new club in the Zambian Super League, revealing that he wants to score goals for Warriors and promised to help the team win silverware.

“I am here to help the team achieve its goal. When I arrived here, they said they want to win something and as a striker, I am promising to score goals so that the team achieves its mandate, ” Farai said in his first interview with Kabwe Warriors Media.

Mususunye has called upon the fans to support the club and promises to do his best. He adds that he wants to win some silverware with the Kabwe legendary club because he is coming from a club were he is used to winning things

“My message to the supporters is that I will do the best I can, like I did with previous clubs. At Shabanie FC, we are used to winning things. I will equally put in my best so that I win something at Kabwe Warriors, ” he added.

Kabwe Warriors have also agreed on a one year loan deal for Zanaco striker Felix Nyaende.  Warriors will open their 2019/20 Super League campaign with an away fixture on Saturday against Green Eagles at Choma’s Independence Stadium.
