It’s a hoax, there’s no press conference – UPND

The United Party for National Development (UPND) has refuted the media alert notification going round as hoax. According to the said widely circulated media alert, UPND President Hakainde Hichilema is said to be the main speaker together with his Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba.

But the sources close to Zambian Eye within the UPND refuted the alert and called it a hoax crafted by the PF to confuse the opposition party’s members.

This is the said statement below:

Hakainde Hichilema President of the UPND will hold a Press Conference at the UPND Secretariat on Friday 2nd September, 2016, at 1000hrs.

Other Speakers will be his Running Mate and Vice President GBM, MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba and Former President Dr Guy Scott.
Issues to be tackled include the pending Presidential petition, party restructuring and Convention.
