IDENTIFY AND HELP FREEDOM FIGHTERS – MWEETWA

Southern Province Minister, CORNELIUS MWEETWA has directed the provincial and districts administrations in the region to identify all freedom fighters.

Mr. MWEETWA says this is to ensure that the freedom fighters are all benefitting from the Social Cash Transfer programme, under the Ministry of Community Development.

Speaking shortly after laying of wreath at the Choma Cenotaph, Mr. MWEETWA observed that freedom fighters, mostly none members of the freedom fighters Association of Zambia, have in the past been neglected.

And Choma District Freedom fighters association of Zambia Chairperson, BENSON HAKOOLE has requested government to consider securing pieces of Land for them to intensify on agriculture practices.
