I WILL NOT BE DERAILED-LUNGU

President Edgar Lungu says he will not be derailed in taking development to Southern province by UPND’s acts of sabotage.President Lungu says it is unfortunate that the UPND has started cutting electricity power lines in Dundumwezi.He says while he is mindful that he may have not received votes in some parts of Southern province, he has a responsibility as president to take development across the country as every citizen is entitled to it.President LUNGU says it is unfortunate that the UPND has been harassing any person associating with government.He cited a case in 2016   where he had gone to Chisamba for maize planting season, where a UPND MP was harassed by UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema for being part of the ceremony.President Lungu says a similar incidence happened in Kaoma where a mayor was fired by UPND for attending a function where he was commissioning the pass out parade for the correction service.He said this when he addressed Indunas in Chisamba District.The head of State said as President he still has a mandate to rule the country up to 2021 and beyond.
