“I DIDN’T DIRECT ZNBC TO DROP STORY”

Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA has dispelled assertions that she directed the Zambia National broadcasting Corporation- ZNBC – not to air a story on the launch of the 2021-2022 Farmer Input Support program in Southern Province.

Ms. KASANDA says the information circulating on online media platforms is false, baseless and aimed at bringing her name into ridicule.

She says the manner in which the falsehood of the said story has been escalated shows ignorance as the media has been given liberality to operate at will.

Ms. KASANDA who is also Chief Government spokesperson has since urged the Public to ignore the story as it is false.

This is contained in a statement availed to ZNBC News in Lusaka today.
