Home affairs minister Steven Kampyongo says Zambia police will decide whether it will arrest UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema for inciting members of the public to riot .

And Vice president Inonge Wina says Zambians shall be considered first , when ZAFFICO shares are floated on the Lusaka Stock Exchange.

Home Affairs minister Steven Kampyongo has in a ministerial statement in parliament accused UPND leader Hichilema of issuing falsehoods against government, suggesting that ZAFFICO has been sold to the Chinese.

He says Mr. Hichilema made such remarks on Copperbelt’s Sun FM radio on November 2nd 2018 prior to the riots on November 6th 2018.

And responding to Senanga central member of parliament during questions on points of clarification, who wanted to know if police are pondering on arresting the UPND president following the allegations, Mr. Kampyongo says police will know what to do when they conclude investigations .

Meanwhile Vice president Inonge Wina has clarified that ZAFFICO shares have not yet been floated on the Lusaka stock exchange , but Zambians will be considered first when they do , while the remainder will go to other foreign nationals .

Ms. Wina was responding to questions during the presidents question time in parliament on Friday
