Hockey Team Promise to Win First Games in Zimbabwe Test Series

Hockey National Team Coach ELVIS BWALYA says all the teams that are taking part in the international test series in Zimbabwe will aim to win their first games.

BWALYA says picking victories in the first game is important as it will set the tempo heading into the coming days.

He says the Zimbabwe outing will not be easy as both hosts and visitors, Zambia, are fighting to get high rankings ahead of the Olympics qualifiers.

BWALYA was speaking to ZNBC Sports News in an interview from the team’s base in Zimbabwe.

The Under 15, 18 boys and girls and the senior National teams are all in action against various Zimbabwe hockey national teams.
