HH TO VISIT KENYA

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is tomorrow scheduled to undertake a State Visit to Kenya at the invitation of his counterpart UHURU KENYATTA.

Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, STANLEY KAKUBO has told ZNBC News in a statement, that during the visit, Presidents HICHILEMA and KENYATTA will hold bilateral talks, which will centre on issues of interest between the two countries.

Mr. KAKUBO said the two Heads of State will also discuss regional, continental and international issues of mutual interest.

He said the bilateral talks will be followed by the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between Zambia and Kenya in various sectors which will provide for the further consolidation of social economic cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. KAKUBO said President HICHILEMA’s Administration is actively working to unlock the country’s economy and provide opportunities that will better the lives of Zambians, including high-level engagements aimed at exploring innovative ways of enhanced cooperation.

President HICHILEMA is scheduled to return to Zambia immediately after his engagements.

And ZANIS reports from Nairobi that President HICHILEMA will arrive in that country tomorrow morning.
