HH thanks Czech Republic for investments

Czech Speaker of the Senate MILOS VYSTRCIL has called for stronger cooperation between Zambia and Czech Republic in various sectors of the economy.

Mr VYSTRCIL says the Czech Republic is determined to strengthen mutual collaborations with Zambia as it has proven to be a stable democratic country under President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA.

Senator VYSTRCIL says the Czech Republic has already mobilized about 7 Million Euros for the development of forestry in Zambia.

The visiting Senator said this when he paid a courtesy call on President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA at the state house.

And, President HICHILEMA thanked the Czech Republic for the investment it has brought into Zambia’s economic and social sectors.

He also thanked the EU and Czech Republic for the support it has rendered to Zambia to attain a debt restructuring deal which was hindering economic development.

The Head of State also said there is a need for global cooperation in ensuring peace , stability and security in the world .
