“HH STILL ON COURSE WITH PROMISES”

(ZANIS) The ruling United Party for National Development -UPND- on the Copperbelt says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has not diverted from his campaign promises.

UPND Copperbelt Province Chairperson ELISHA MATAMBO says President HICHILEMA is on course in ensuring that all campaign promises in various sectors such as health, education and Agriculture are met.

He has assured citizens that President HICHILEMA’s key campaign promises will be actualized once the 2022 national budget is implemented.

Mr. MATAMBO, who is also Copperbelt Province Minister, was speaking when he drummed up support for UPND Kamifungo ward candidate MARK SIMBEYE in Masaiti district.

He further urged Masaiti residents to elect the UPND candidate in order to spearhead President HICHILEMA’s vision in the area.

The Kamifungo local government election was necessitated by the death of UPND candidate MATONGO BBUKU prior to the 2021 general election.

The Kamifungo local government election is slated for October 21 2021.
