HH Prods youth to utilise empowerment opportunities

By Paul Shalala-President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has encouraged youths across the country to take advantage of various empowerment opportunities which government is offering.

President HICHILEMA says government has started giving out cattle loans, mining licences and grants under the Constituency Development Funds to empower youths.

President HICHILEMA says the empowerment opportunities are free and should be utilised to better the lives of youths.

Speaking when he addressed people in Namwala District this afternoon, President HICHILEMA encouraged youths in Southern Province to apply for mining licences so that they can mine lithium which has been discovered in Mapatizya Constituency.

He said mining activities in Mapatizya and Itezhi-Tezhi Constituencies will only benefit the youths if they are involved in mining and processing the minerals.
