HH in Namwala for burial of Cattle Rancher

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is in Namwala District in Southern Province to attend the burial for prominent cattle rancher TEDDY NAMAINGA.

The helicopter carrying the President landed at Busangu village at 11:12 hours, and he was welcomed by Southern Province Minister CREDO NANJUWA.

Others were Information Minister, CORNELIUS MWEETWA, Local Government Minister, GARY NKOMBO, Community Development Minister, DOREEN MWAMBA as well as Lands Minister, ELIJAH MUCHIMA.

Others who welcomed the President were NAMWALA Member of Parliament MOONO MAPANI, Itezhi-Tezhi Member of Parliament, TWAAMBO MUTINTA and his Dundumwezi counterpart, EDGAR SINGOMBE.

Mr NAMAINGA, who was popularly known as MUKAMANGWE, was a prominent rancher with more than 4,000 cattle.

He died earlier this week at the age of 83 and he will be put to rest at his farm at Busangu village.
