HH Confers with Parliamentarians

Ruth Chayinda-A committee of five Parliamentarians has pledged to adequately represent Zambia’s interests at the pan African Parliament scheduled for June 27 to July 2, 2022 in South Africa.

Delegation Leader MILES SAMPA says the team will be sworn in as Members of the Pan African Parliament and will use the platform to ensure more Zambians get jobs at regional bodies.

Mr. SAMPA, who is also Matero Member of Parliament, said this when he and his team paid a courtesy call on President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA at state house.

They were bidding farewell to the President ahead of the Pan Africa Parliament which is also set to hold elections for various leadership structures.

And President HICHILEMA said his administration is ready to work with the committee to explore opportunities and implement policies that will benefit Zambia and protects its people.

He encouraged the committee to market Zambia at the meetings and advocate for more Zambians to be employed and take up positions at various regional bodies.
