HH charms CBU students

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says the reintroduction of meal allowance in institutions of higher learning is aimed at improving the student’s welfare in the country.

And President HICHILEMA says the new dawn Government has delivered on the many promises it made and meal allowance is one of them.

Speaking when he addressed scores of students from the Copperbelt and Mukuba Universities in Kitwe, the President said the new dawn government is in office to improve the economy of the country.

He said the government has scored a number of successes with the introduction of free education and increased Constituency Development Fund -CDF.

The President called on the students to work with the government so that the country produces quality leadership.

And COBUSU President CATROL MULILO and his Mukuba counterpart BRIAN MWITWA commended government for the quick response to the students’ plight.

The President is on the Copperbelt for a two day working visit.
