President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has arrived back from South Africa.

The plane carrying the President and his entourage touched down at 16:25 hours at Lusaka ZAF base.

The President was received by Lusaka Province Minister SHEAL MULYATA, Acting Secretary to Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA, Lusaka Mayor CHILANDO CHITANGALA and service chiefs.

While in South Africa, President HICHILEMA held bilateral talks with President CYRIL RAMAPHOSA, on matters of peace and security that are of mutual importance to the two countries.

The two Heads of State also discussed issues centred around development, regional peace, security and enhancing economic and bilateral ties.

President HICHILEMA was accompanied by Defense Minister AMBROSE LUFUMA and Foreign and International Relations Minister STANLEY KAKUBO.
