HH ASSURES NP OF DEVELOPMENT

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has assured the people of Northern Province that his government will address their developmental concerns.
President HICHILEMA says the New Dawn Administration is aware of the development gaps such as poor road network and inadequacies under the Farmer Input Support Programme -FISP-.
The Head of State said this when he made a stopover at Kasama Airport on his way to Muchinga Province.
He also urged people in the province to put aside their differences and unite in fostering development.
And President HICHILEMA reiterated his Administration’s resolve to deliver a decentralized budget which will see more money being channeled to the provinces.
He further thanked the people of Northern Province for their support in the August 12 general election.
Earlier, Northern Province Minister LEONARD MBAO said people in the province are confident that their challenges will be addressed.
Mr. MBAO said the province will continue to rally behind President HICHILEMA’s government because of his good leadership.
And UPND Provincial Chairperson VICTOR SINKALA assured President HICHILEMA that the party will continue to grow and attract more numbers in the province.
MEANWHILE, President HICHILEMA is in Chinsali District, Muchinga Province on a one day working visit.
President HICHILEMA landed at Chinsali Airstrip around 11:00 and was received by Muchinga Province Minister HENRY SIKAZWE.
The President is this afternoon expected to tour the Provincial Studios, Check on the Chambeshi Water Project and Chinsali General Hospital.
The Head of State will also visit the burial site of Former Vice President and late Freedom Fighter SIMON MWANSA KAPWEPWE.
The President’s visit at the late Freedom Fighter SIMON MWANSA KAPWEPWE’s burial site is part of the Independence Commemorations.
