Help popularize weightlifting,govt urged

By Wilson Mulinda-Zambian Strong woman NICOLE MOYO has called for Government support in popularising the sport of weightlifting in the country.

MOYO says Zambia has a lot of potential strength athletes who require financial and material support to kickstart their careers.

She says strongman competitions are slowly gaining momentum in the country, but the future cannot be guaranteed without Government support.

MOYO told ZNBC sports in an interview that her dream is to put Zambia on the international scene as a strength athlete.

MOYO recently won gold and first position as African Strongest Novice at the African Strongman Championship.
