HELP GOVT TO FIGHT COVID -BWALYA

(ZANIS) Northern Province Minister Chungu Bwalya is saddened that some people still think Covid-19 is a hoax.

Mr. Bwalya says this is despite repeated efforts by the government to sensitise the public about the dangers of the disease.

He notes that people are losing lives due to the disease hence the need for everyone to take prevention measures seriously.

Mr. Bwalya has since urged the public to work with the government in fighting Covid-19.

The Minister said this when he sensitised transporters and the public in Kasama on Covid-19.

Mr. Bwalya advised the public to observe the guidelines of masking up, maintaining social distance and sanitising.

And speaking on behalf of the public, Mutale Mutale, a taxi driver of Kasama commended the Minister for taking time to sensitise them.

He stated that such acts are good especially when they come from a leader.
