Govt Worries Over Slow Pace Of Works In Muchinga

General Education Minister, David Mabumba has expressed disappointment over stalled works at Nakonde Secondary School and other already funded projects in Muchinga province.Mr. Mabumba says while the Ministry is doing everything possible to facilitate for the necessary requirements to improve quality of Education, it is difficult to achieve the intended results if the local leaders are failing to provide leadership.Speaking when addressed teachers in Nakonde, Mr Mabumba said quality education can only be provided with good infrastructure.Mr. Mabumba said lack of commitment by the local leadership to see to it that projects are completed in good time is a drawback to the Ministry.He has since given the contractor Savenda two Months to register significant progress at New Nakonde Secondary School.
