GOVT TO CONSTRUCT FOOT TRAILS TO NGONYE FALLS

The Ministry of Tourism through the National Heritage Conservation Commission NHCC will soon embark on constructing the road and foot trails towards Ngonye falls in Sioma District, Western Province.

Minister of Tourism RODNEY SIKUMBA says there is an urgent need to create accessible roads to the falls to attract more tourists to the site.

Mr. SIKUMBA further says the government is not only looking at Ngonye falls as a tourist attraction but as a potential power generating source.

He has encouraged both local and international tourists to visit the falls to appreciate its beauty.
