Govt Starts Issuing Letters recently recruited 853 Volunteer Health Workers

Government has started issuing appointment letters to recently recruited 853 volunteer health workers that worked in Cholera centres.

The employees were validated as having risked their lives in various cholera centers without pay.

Civil Service Commissioner, CHOOLWE BEYANI says so far over 7 hundred 50 of the volunteers have been given their appointment letter.

In an interview with ZNBC News,  Dr. CHOLWE has also urged the newly recruited health workers to contribute to bettering health care services as they take up their positions.

He has said that the volunteer health workers should uphold professionalism and be a new breed of health workers that will remain dedicated towards work.

Meanwhile, Several health workers today gathered at Cabinet offices to collect their appointment letters.
