Govt sponsored CBU Students receive their meal allowance

Students on Government sponsorship at the Copperbelt University -CBU- have received their meal allowance.

The students have expressed gratitude to President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for reintroducing the allowance.

CBU Students Union -COBUSU- President CASTRO MULILO has confirmed the crediting of meal allowance to ALL students at the institution.

Mr. MULILO said the students are happy with President HICHILEMA for reinstating the meal allowance, adding that they have had to endure poor diet for the past four years.

And COBUSU Prime Minister BRIGHT NGALAMIKA said one of the greatest attributes of leadership is the ability to fulfill promises and President HICHILEMA has demonstrated this by bringing back the meal allowance which was scrapped off by the previous administration.

Meanwhile, COBUSU Minister of Entertainment ALICE MACHONI said students are happy with the President for listening to their cries.
