Govt lauds partners for facilitating modern agriculture services

Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary for Technical Services JOHN MULONGOTI says government appreciates the work done by its cooperating partners in facilitating Zambia’s adoption of E-Phyto solution.

Mr. MULONGOTI said this in a speech read on his behalf by Central Province Assistant Secretary MWAPE KASANDA.

Meanwhile, Department of Plant Quarantine and Phytosanitary Services (PQPS) Director, KENNETH MSISKA said the department plays an important role in safeguarding the agriculture sector and protecting the environment.

And, A Senior Plants Health Inspector MARTINE SIAZEMO, said the E- PHYTO solution is a platform to exchange of Phytosanitary certificate which permits the movement of plants and plant products across the nations.
