Govt constructs six hospitals,99 health posts in Southern Province

Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya says six hospitals and 99 health facilities have been constructed in the Southern Province.Dr Chilufya says more than 1,000 medical staff have also been employed for these health facilities.The minister has also dispelled Southern Province legislators’ assertions that the region has not benefited from the construction of hospitals countrywide.Dr Chilufya was speaking in interview with ZNBC News in Kazungula shortly after touring Kazungula level one hospital, constructed at a cost of K12m.
