By Blessings Chibuye

Government says there is a need for technical and financial support from cooperating partners  to achieve Zambia’s vision of being a transport hub.

Transport and Logistics Minister, FRANK TAYALI says the transport sector remains one of the key support drivers of economic growth.

Mr TAYALI said this in a speech read on his behalf by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary FREDERICK MWALUSAKA during the Transport Sector Performance Review Forum in Lusaka.

Speaking on behalf of the Transport Sector Cooperating Partners, African Development Bank, Transport Specialist DANIEL ISOOBA said cooperating partners are ready to improve their footprint in the transport sector in Zambia through support and sharing their regional and global experience.
