Golf Team Named for 2020 All Africa Challenge

The Zambian Ladies Golf Union -ZLGU- has selected a team to represent Zambia at the 2020 All Africa Challenge Trophy slated for 1st to 3rd April in Namibia.Union President Carol Masisani says the team comprises of Minase Siame 17, from Mufulira golf club, Anne Nsama 16 from Nkana Golf Club and Kaira Mulenga 27, from the Zambia Army.Masisani told ZNBC Sports in a telephone interview that the Union is sending good golfers, who will represent the country well.She also disclosed that a budget of 73,500 Kwacha has been allocated to facilitate the logistics of the golfers.Masisani said the Union will hold two fundraising tournaments on the 1st and 15th of March at Lusaka Golf club and Nkana golf club in a bid to meet the total budget.She has since called on other stakeholders to collaborate with the Union in raising funds for the golfers.
