GERMANY TO SUPPORT CLIMATE CHANGE FIGHT

The German government has pledged commitment towards fighting climate change in Southern province through its long-standing development partnership with the government of Zambia.German Ambassador to Zambia Achim Burkart says this follows the concern by President Edgar Lungu that climate change effects are proving to be a challenge in the Province.He was speaking in Mazabuka, during the official opening of one of the eleven modern bus stations constructed around Southern province.And Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale has hailed the German government for its unwavering support to the people of Zambia.
