GEN. SIKAZWE HAILS KK’s LEADERSHIP

Zambia Army Commander Lieutenant General William Sikazwe says first President Kenneth Kaunda will always be remembered for the leadership he provided to the defense force.

General Sikazwe says Dr. Kaunda had foresight for the defense force as can be seen by the equipment he bought during his time.

He says the defense force will remain proud of what he did to the nation in the maintenance of peace and unity.

General Sikazwe says Dr. Kaunda’s legacy will continue to live on because he is a man that put the interest of the nation first.

And Dr. Kaunda’s son Tilyenji thanked the service chiefs and the delegation for rendering support to the family.

Meanwhile Deputy Chief Justice Michael Musonda, who also led some members of the Judiciary to sign the book of condolence and console the family said Dr. Kaunda was a rare and humble gift to Zambia and the world.

And, ZANACO Board Chairperson Hastings Mtine and Chief Executive Officer Mukwandi Chibesakunda also paid tribute to Dr. Kaunda and signed the book of condolence.
